Which is the best plan for me?
The design of any plan will be as unique as you are, incorporating your personal health and fitness history, lifestyle and preferences, and crafted with your specific [SMART] objectives and safety as priorities. To deliver maximum benefit, timescales and number of sessions should be considered with all of these factors in mind. The following examples and illustrations are intended to offer some general guidelines but please get in touch to discuss your specific requirements.
Kickstart Plan [4 sessions] - short-term coaching programmes that might be suited to;
- An introduction to stimulate and motivate longer term lifestyle change, or perhaps some targeted exercise coaching to promote ongoing self-management of a chronic condition
- Technical instruction [for example familiarisation with a gym environment, learning to use some equipment safely, or improving approaches to nutrition]
- Supplementary fitness coaching for a forthcoming event, or perhaps a sharp, focused effort to help shed those last few pounds/inches
Breakthrough Plan [8 sessions] - medium term programmes for more significant improvements that establish momentum;
- Extensive fitness coaching and nutrition advice that delivers significant body transformation and creates a springboard for proactive, sustainable lifestyle change
- Condition specific exercise programmes to help alleviate, and support the longer term management of chronic conditions
- Strength and conditioning coaching for sporting events
Transformation Plan [12 or more sessions] - longer term support to establish positive habits and embed lasting lifestyle change;
- Comprehensive programmes that build on the above plans, embedding knowledge and skills that help you transform your life, and empower you to move forward with confidence and independence
- Extensive strength and conditioning programmes for sporting events
- Ongoing, regular coached sessions for those who favour continued support and accountability
